New companion: Creaking 🌳

A new epic companion is planned: the Creaking – the eerie guardian of the Pale Garden, now on your side.

Planned effects

• Frozen Stare – monsters you look at slow down heavily (not bosses)
• Root Grip – your hits briefly root enemies to the ground (with a cooldown)
• Lord of the Pale Garden – creakings leave you alone and go after your attackers instead

Unlocked by harvesting creaking hearts. Home area: the new Dark Forest expedition area (incl. Pale Garden).
